To show us ways in which to grow
So we can all decide
How to live and how to do
What's right instead of wrong,
To lead us so that we can lead
And learn how to be strong. 
Why God created teachers,
In His wisdom and His grace,
Was to help us learn to make our world
A better, wiser place. 

“Save Environment “: Message to Pilgrim

Vidya Pratishthan’s New English Medium School arranged one day Picnic for Scouters and Guiders to Rui, Tal Baramati which is 5 km away from the school on 1^st Oct, 2011.In the nature students got the experience of walking.

The Temple of Goddess Bhavanimata is situated on the hill close to Rui Villege.

On reaching there the scouters and guiders cleaned the area around the temple. As these days, there is always rush of the pilgrims because of Navratra Mahostav, causing uncleanliness.To bring awareness, some slogans based on cleanliness were placed in the surrounding area by our scouters and Guiders. They also gave the message of “Save Environment” through songs and Slogans like -----

                 " Devila Ghala Phulanchya Mala

                      Nisargatil Pradushan Tala "

                 " Aai Ali Gharat

                 Swachhata Theva Parisarat"

All scouters and guiders together enjoyed their lunch. This was a was experience to them to be close to nature a collect information about birds and animals. They also enjoyed drawing and sketching nature around. They learnt so many things by spending one day very close to the nature. The trip on foot was wonderful the students, got the information about new place, they interacted with the villages which enhanced their knowledge. The feeling of co-operation developed among them during this trip.

Fine Motor Skills Workshop at VPNEMS

Nursery Parents Workshop

 

On 16^th Sep, 2011 Friday, A workshop for Nursery Parents was conducted by the Nursery Teachers at Vidya Pratishthan’s New English Medium school under the guidance of respected Principal Madam Mrs.J.S.Jagtap.

 Children usually begin to acquire Fine Motor Skill by the time they reach 2-3 years. In order to give proper direction to parents, for development of Fine Motor Skill in their child, this workshop was arranged. As we know a child is very closely attached to its mother and mother spends most of the time in kitchen. There are many things in the kitchen itself, which can be used for a child to develop, its Fine Motor Skill in a play way method. In this workshop teachers showed line demonstration of some activities, which Parents can take at home, such as screw and unscrew caps of bottle, plucking leafy vegetables with cloth, cutting chapatti with Pizza cutter, using tooth pick to make design in wheat dough, sprinkling rangoli powder and finger movement on Rangoli.

After this demonstration parents also enjoyed these activities with their children.

The main objective of this workshop was to bring awareness in parents about the development of Fine Motor Skill in their child at home.

On account of Hon.Shree Ajit Pawar‘s Birthday, School had arranged different competitions for the pre-primary students on 29^th July in the school campus.

*High Jump-For this game some bread were tied to a string and the string was hold high by the Teachers and participants were told to jump high with lying their hands back, and eat the bread.

3)    Jatar Ayushka Hemant

*Getting ready for the school-In order to develop the habit of getting ready for

School early in the morning in a proper manner this game was arranged.

Students were made to stand in a line at one point and at the other point their

Shirts and school bags were kept. The students had to run and were the shirt

Properly, butten and tuck in the shirt and carry the school bag and run back to

First point.

Through this game they knew the importance of Time.
